Smith had a shaky start to the season as a passer, but the kid earned plenty of respect for the way he put his body on the line for his team. Watch him barely convert a fourth down scramble to keep the Mounties alive late in a close game against Detroit, then in the rematch later in the season he goes all out to cross the plane at the goalline. Can't help but root for him to succeed when you see this.
