This sequence of events on Thursday Night Football early in the season kickstarted some murmurs of a potential Kione Brown MVP campaign in 2021. Talk about value. First Brown kills a long Detroit drive with this snot-bubbling forced fumble on Kelly Katy (who I'm sure had every Marauders fan screaming at their TVs to slide when they saw him on a collision course with a DPOY candidate in Brown). Then, seven plays later. he's lining up on offense and catching a touchdown pass on a smooth out route. If you were to assume that Detroit would score a touchdown on their drive, that's a 14-point swing primarily due to Brown's excellence. No wonder people started to dream big.
